Terms of use

These terms apply to the apps published by ilgazapps and to this website. By installing an app or using this site, you agree to them. It is the boring page, but it is the one that keeps everybody out of trouble.

Your licence

ilgazapps grants you a personal, non exclusive, non transferable licence to install and use its apps on devices you own or control, for as long as you follow these terms. The apps are licensed, not sold. Where you got an app through an app store, that store's own terms apply alongside these and take precedence over them in case of conflict.

What you may not do

• Copy, resell, rent or redistribute an app or any part of it
• Reverse engineer, decompile or modify an app, except where the law expressly allows it
• Remove or obscure copyright and ownership notices, or pass the artwork off as your own
• Use an app to break the law or to interfere with other people's systems

Your content

Anything you make inside an app stays yours. ilgazapps claims no ownership of it and, since it stays on your device, has no access to it. Keeping a backup of anything you would cry over losing is your responsibility.

Purchases and subscriptions

Payments for paid apps, in app purchases and subscriptions are processed by the app store you bought through. Refunds, renewals and cancellations follow that store's policy, and a subscription is managed in your store account, not here. Virtual items bought inside an app have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for real money.

Updates and availability

Apps are updated from time to time to fix bugs, keep up with new phones and add features. ilgazapps may change, suspend or discontinue an app or a feature. Where an app is discontinued, reasonable notice will be given in its release notes.

No warranty

The apps and this website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. ilgazapps does not promise that an app will be uninterrupted, bug free or fit for any particular purpose of yours.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, ilgazapps is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data arising from the use of an app or this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.

Feedback

Ideas are welcome. If you send a suggestion through the contact form, ilgazapps may build it without owing you payment or attribution, so please do not send anything confidential or anything you want to keep for a project of your own.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. The current version always lives on this page with its date at the top, and carrying on using an app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
